Brandy Miller

Brandy Miller is a native of New Orleans, LA. As a dancer and teacher she has trained with such names as Frank Hachett, Gregory Hines, Sheila Barker, the American Ballet Theatre, Dr. Lisa Fusillo, Charlotte Adams, Anne Shea, and the Oberlin Dance Collective to name a few. Brandy was trained with many talented dancers including Britney Spears.

She attended University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance under the direction of Dr. Lisa Fusillo. While in Lincoln, Brandy taught at True Dance & Company, and was fortunate to take classes with Gregory Hines, the Urban Bush Women, American Ballet Theatre, and the Paul Tayor Company to name a few. Upon graduation in 2000, Brandy moved to Myrtle Beach, SC and began working with dancers, cheerleaders, and gymnasts in and around the Grand Strand. She became a member of Dance Masters of America & Ch. #44 Southern Council of Dance Masters in 2001. Brandy has held several board positions and is currently the Past President of Ch#44 SCDM.

Brandy’s students have held such titles as SCDM Petite, Junior, Teen, Miss & Mister Dance of South Carolina, Adrenaline’s Elite Honored Dancer, Hollywood Vibe Dancer of the Year, Velocity MVA (Most Valuable Artist), as well as attend the following schools on scholarships: Broadway Dance Center in NYC, STEPS in NYC, The Millennium in LA, and The Edge in LA. Her students currently hold professional careers with the Atlanta Hawk Dance Team, Oklahoma City Ballet, Princess Cruise Lines, and Walt Disney World to name a few. Brandy’s students are also represented by Clear Talent Agency and Go2 Talent Agency in Los Angeles, CA.

Brandy founded Myrtle Beach Dance Company in 2015, and is proud to be the owner & director. MBDC promotes a fun atmosphere while learning different skills and being happy!

Heather Murphy

Heather Murphy was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, SC. She started dance and gymnastics at age 3 and trained in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary/modern, hip hop, and acro. Heather was a competitive gymnast for many years and started competitive dancing at age 9 until she graduated college where she was awarded numerous awards and scholarships.

Heather attended to Winthrop University and received Bachelors of Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography. She trained under Sandra Neels (former dancer of Merce Cunningham), Caroline Calouche (owner of Caroline Calouche and Co. in Charlotte), and many other influential instructors. Heather held multiple professional jobs during college performing with Charlotte-based companies, Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra, and in the Charlotte Dance Festival. She was also a member of Millennium Dance Company - jazz/hip hop/ modern company - in Charlotte for 2 years after graduating

Heather Murphy began teaching in 2009 for Brandy Miller and has not stopped since. Her choreography has received many awards and accolades. Heather currently teaches Hip Hop to all MBDC dancers.

Misty Miller Huff

Misty Miller, born and raised in New Orleans, LA, began her professional career at the tender age of 10 when she went on tour dancing for the NFL. She moved to L.A. after receiving her Bachelors Degree from the University of Nebraska.

Most recently, you would have seen her in the first ever Facebook commercial ad campaign as well as an episode of Two and a Half Men, where she worked along side Ashton Kucher. She has also performed live with Beyonce and Kanye West. You would have also seen her in Kristin Chenoweth's music video "I Want Somebody." On top of her national commercial for Nair, you have seen her on select TV appearances including The Game, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, And let's not forget to mention Misty working directly with Britney Spears as an Associate Choreographer for her Circus Tour. And recently she has jumped back in to help Ed prepare for the Britney Spears show in Las Vegas, teaching her choreography and coaching Ms. Spears and dancers on how to do the tricks with Mr. Alonzo. As well as working alongside her director, Baz Halpin, on tips for producing the number.

Misty has worked with such notable choreographers as Fatima Robinson, Mandy Moore, Laurie Ann Gibson, Frank Gatson, and Rosero McCoy. She has Also performed for Marc Anthony, Nike, Panasonic, MGM, Toyota and Manheim Steamroller.

Misty has loved to entertain since childhood. She doesn't only love to perform. She also genuinely loves sharing her knowledge of technique, style, secrets of the industry and most importantly her passion for dance to the next generation of entertainers.

Clinton Huff

Clinton Huff was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, where he began his dance training at the tender age of 11, focusing on Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop. Because he loved old school poppinghe was eager to learn the fundamentals of popping and waving. Clinton spent many summers abroad in France training with the boys technique teacher from the world famous, Paris Opera. As a teenager, he performed in many musicals including, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat, West Side Story and 7 Brides for 7 Brothers.

Clinton has worked in film, television, stage and commercials. His commercial credits include Coke, Progressive Insurance, Nokia, Budwiser, Visa, Volks Wagon, Hondai, Bugaboo, Nissan, Target, Cheetos, and Jack in the Box to name a few. You would have also seen him on television and on the big screen in the following: Glee, Two and Half Men, Disaster Movie, Malcolm in the Middle, The Video Game Awards, The Comebacks, Jackass #2, and Eli Stone! Clinton has also performed for prestigious companies like Disney, Honda, Fiat, Belagio Casino in Las Vegas, E-3 and Paul Mitchell.

He has also traveled the world performing close to home in an industrial show for Nike in beautiful Hawaii, as well as touring countries like Germany and Canada with the amazing choreographer Hi Hat.

Clinton has worked with many other notable choreographers such Fred Tallaksen, Michael Rooney, Zach Woodley, and Michael Swandt. He has also worked along side Kim Kardashian, Franky Munez, David Koechner and Neil Patrick Harris. Most recently you would have seen him in his second Jack in the Box commercial ad, where he was directly booked!

Because he has such a strong appreciation for his craft, Clinton believes that sharing his knowledge of dance, with the up and coming dancers of the next generation, is one of the most important things in life. The arts must be embraced and perpetuated.
